Black berry confit, crème de cassis and liquorice but also tobacco and incense nuances are revealed on the attractive bouquet. Powerful, substantial, velvety with good fruit concentration and a fine acid structure. The supporting tannins are well-integrated with dark fruit; this is a very sappy style of wine with good persistence and excellent potential for ageing well.
