The red wine Sancta Catharina Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Dei has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Warm-hearted, sunny, inviting nose of ripe berryish fruit, leather, tobacco, earth and fine oak. Accessible on the palate, albeit with a full structure, hearty, with fine earthy tones and a light iron note, best served in a carafe to aerate.
