The red wine Ojo de Ibiza Terrazas del Norte, vintage 2016 from the winery Dieter Meier has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Monastrell, Syrah from the region Balearic Islands in Spain.
Spicy-fruity concentrated bouquet with notes of strawberry jam and blackberry. In addition hints of coconut and caramel as well as liquorice. On the palate dense, full-bodied and powerful with ripe acidity, ample dark fruit, concentrated and with fine-grained tannin. Long, salty-mineral finish.
