A few years ago, a former employee of Cloudy Bay set up his own business, and his wines have since shone at almost every tasting. Light greenish yellow. Delicately spicy on the nose, inviting elderflower, some gooseberry, green apple, very typical varietal bouquet. On the palate, very full of finesse and a touch slimmer and more elegant than some other wines from Marlborough, mineral in concept, racy, lemony, very drinkable, fine herbal touch on the finish.
