Tasting from 23.03.2022: Ulrich Sautter

Dark berry aromas of blueberry and blackcurrant leaves, with some pepper and thyme. Smooth on the palate with mellow, soft tannins, but at the same time still powered by juicy acidity and a fine chalky minerality. The homogeneous, fresh palate fruit still seems closed for its age, but shows good concentration. The wine will nevertheless remain fresh and elegant as it matures.
