On first contact, the aroma shows subtle wood and remnants of youthful yeastiness. The palate structure is supple and full-bodied on the one hand and finely nerved and slightly chalky on the other, the finish flavours are savoury, with a striking fruitiness, almost of elderberry, on the finish.
