A touch of molten candlewax seems to obscure the fruit on the nose. The palate does present fruit - ripe red cherry -supported by ripe and corduroy-like tannins on a slightly rustic body. There is something rustic about the wine, but it is not without charm. Drink 2023-2030. A.K.
