The nose is a little shy to begin with but swirling reveals a lovely combination of raspberry and lifted peony, edged with a tender pepperiness. The palate is rounded in its ripeness, but the aromatic lift of those raspberry notions remains, along with a clearer expression of peppery spice. There is a soft crunch of rather fine tannin and beautiful freshness. A shy little flower yet to blossom, but with the promise of immense charm. Drink 2025-2040. A.K.
