The white wine Picpoul de Pinet AOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine de Bellemare has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Piquepoul blanc from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Intensely citrus-fruity, grated lemon peel, tangerine leaf, some bergamot - and a little bit of algae. On the palate supple, round, with vital acidity and concise youthful texture behind the superficially soft body. A gastronomic style, made to accompany grilled fish.
