Tasting from 14.10.2011

Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Fine precious wood notes on the nose, exotic spices, underlaid with ripe black berry fruit, delicate hints of smoked bacon, attractive bouquet. Elegant and balanced, present tannins, rather red forest berry confit, still a little edgy on the finish, but shows length, extract-sweet aftertaste, a versatile food companion.
