Tasting from 28.08.2014

Deep ruby colour, faint ochre reflections, broad watery rim. Fine ripe plum notes, pleasant tobacco savouriness, nuances of orange zest, ripe cherry, subtle liquorice, a multi-faceted bouquet. Light-footed but juicy, pronounced fruit cherry fruit, fine tannins, a hint of nougat on the finish, salty aftertaste. It is a refined food wine, now perfectly ready to drink, and is as light as the best clarets of yesteryear.
