This has a ripe and elegant but fresh fruity nose, with aromas of plum and red berry, along with floral and toasty nuances, some mocha, and subtle tobacco. It is rather powerful but elegant on the palate, with red fruit, and again with savoury nuances. It lingers for a long time, with a juicy ripe acidity, and somewhat persistent fine tannins.
