The white wine Le Haut-Lieu »Vouvray« Sec, vintage 2022 from the winery Domaine Huet has been rated in 2024 by Gerhild Burkard with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chenin Blanc from the region Touraine in France.
Restrained bouquet of fine lime confit, then fresh meadow herbs and almond blossom with a smoky touch. Youthful, juicy acidity, complex and multi-layered with lots of fruit, somewhat peppery in the middle of the palate. Shows substance and density with great ageing potential. Should lie dormant in the cellar for a few more years.
