The red wine Cahors AOC Enpyrée, vintage 2009 from the winery Domaine Le Bout du Lieu has been rated in 2011 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Malbec from the region South West France in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Black berry fruit on the nose, intense oak notes, the new wood covers the fruit, leafy spice. Juicy and extract-sweet, somewhat brittle tannins, somewhat unbalanced, a pity about the sweet fruit core, which does not show in this phase.
