The red wine Saint-Joseph AOC 350m Haut Plateau de Gneiss, vintage 2013 from the winery Domaine les Bruyères has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Côtes du Rhône in France.
Black pepper, juniper, cocoa bean, fascinating mineral notes, savoury. On the palate fleshy tannin, animating acidity and a pervasive mineral hue, rough and demanding, but in its youthful wild way also quite already drinkable with pleasure. Decant for two to three hours. Will grow-up to great spiciness in the bottle.
