The red wine Merlot Réserve, vintage 2023 from the winery Domaine Les Yeuses has been rated in 2025 by Romana Echensperger with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Pays d'Oc IGP in France.
In the glass, it has a deep purple-red colour and a classic, elegant bouquet: dark berries, plum, plus savouriness with bay leaf, cinnamon toast and dark chocolate. Smooth on the palate, with a juicy, accessible tannin structure and plenty of flavour. The fruit remains vivid without being loud - a balanced, stylish Merlot with a spicy finish.
