The red wine Chénas "Chassignol", vintage 2021 from the winery Domaine Thillardon has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser & Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gamay from the region Beaujolais in France.
A scent of rock dust and cocktail cherry with floral undertones. In the mouth, despite its lightness (11.5% alcohol!), the wine is also concentrated. The tannins are dense and somewhat austere; a pithy acidity flanks the structure. A full-bodied wine with a compact finish.
