Exquisitely pure forest fruit brims, this is like crushed blueberry, blackberry, black cherry. The palate is dense, taut, concentrated. This is a picture of toned, restrained but unquestionable power. The Rugiens tannins are evident but exquisitely ripe, the body is bold but elegant. This is a new kind of Pommard.
