Tasting Notes
Molten candlewax, subtle woodsmoke and blanched hazelnut are the chief impressions on the nose. The palate is still taut but the concentration and a kind of viscous richness are immediately evident on the palate. There is a central vein of lemon freshness, almost tingling, that marshals both richness and depth into a statuesque structure. This is powerful but poised and has incredible energy and power. A thoroughbred, all energy for now. This needs time. Drink 2027-2050. A.K.
