The rosé wine Ott * Château Romassan, vintage 2021 from the winery Domaines Ott* has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Grenache from the region Bandol in France.
The fruit is most subtle on the nose but recalls crushed, tart blackberry and beautiful cherry. The palate plays on these notions, too, and adds a zesty citrus edge, but there definitely is darker fruit lurking. Lovely and structured, with a wonderful phenolic component.
