The rosé wine Ott* Etoile, vintage 2021 from the winery Domaines Ott* has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Mourvèdre from the region Vin de France
A notion of white peach opens the subtle nose. More air and temperature then reveals hints of Mirabelle plum and a lovely hint of pink grapefruit, alongside a touch of wet pebble. The palate then surprises with its immense texture: this is where the wine shows its true self, with wonderfully smooth, pithy mouthfeel, zesty freshness and an immense sense of juiciness. Lovely now, will evolve.
