Rich ruby, appears extremely youthful in the glass. An appealing nose with finely drawn notes of plums and blackberries with smoke in the background. Smooth and fine on the palate, there's still a lot of youthful freshness as well as fine-meshed, well-integrated tannins. Some nice drive on the finish, this is a tribute to the certain ageing potential of Sicilian red wines.
