The sweet and dessert wine Ben Ryé Passito di Pantelleria DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Donnafugata has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zibibbo from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright amber with copper-coloured reflections. Distinct aromas of dried apricots and figs, stewed peaches, acacia honey, orange blossom and some ginger on the nose, very complex. Very balanced and round on the palate, with a great balance of freshness and fruitiness, the tannins are well integrated, ending with a long finish of dried fruit.
