The red wine Mille e Una Notte Sicilia Rosso DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Donnafugata has been rated in 2026 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Petit Verdot, Syrah from the region Marsala in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby with purple. Fragrant nose, with hints of sweet precious wood, dark chocolate, sweet spices and cranberries, multi-layered. Powerful on the palate, with noticeable use of wood, shows creamy, polished tannins, dark berry aromas, currently still somewhat brittle on the finish due to the wood overhang.
