The red wine Montsclapade FCO DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Dorigo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Vibrant, rich ruby with fine garnet shimmer. Intense and multilayered nose, shows notes of tobacco, black olive paste, some sandalwood and finally cassis. On the palate full-bodied with good density, plenty of clear, vivid fruit, grippy tannin that carries the wine, juicy and hearty.
