The red wine »Naixement« Montsant Vinyes velles, vintage 2016 from the winery Dosterras has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Carignan from the region Montsant in Spain.
Amarena cherry, gingerbread, rum raisin, notes of spontaneous fermentation, buttery undertones. The palate proves to be full-bodied and powerful, a large amount of mealy tannin provides a structure to chew on, the firm acidity supports the full-bodied, robust, slightly mineral finish. Independent and high quality!
