Full fruit on the nose, blackberry confit, blackcurrant, dark raspberry, tar and thyme, black pepper. Subtle wood. The palate has fire, but also a dense extract filling and a concentrated acidity that provides tension and balance. The tactile minerality is like a bracket around the plump, oily base and the dense extract filling. Great length. Still very young.
