Tasting Notes

Tasting from 27.08.2021: Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter

Dark ruby with purple reflections and delicate brightening on the rim. Nuances of black pepper and tapenade show on the nose as well as a breath of tar and black olives, and there are notions of Parma Violets and a smoky savouriness in the background. Juicy, red currants are notable on the tight palate with ripe tannins, vivid minerality and a hint of lime zest on the finish This is light on its feet, long lasting, has good freshness, a salty finish and great ageing potential.
