The red wine Syrah - Shiraz Somontano DO, vintage 2010 from the winery Enate has been rated in 2016 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Aragon in Spain.
The wine bears its name for a reason, as it smells as concentrated and ethereal as a Barossa Shiraz and has a taut European fruit, combining the "new" and "old" worlds of wine. Its taste convinces with a mineral and lush structure. That may sound contradictory - and it tastes so good.
