The white wine Chardonnay 234 Unoaked Somontano DO, vintage 2017 from the winery Enate has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Aragon in Spain.
Spicy fruit indicating highly ripe grapes, some raisin and asparagus, but also flax, white peach, and white flowers. On the palate a powerful body, which is nevertheless accompanied by freshness and minerality. It finishes with aromatic fireworks of dried fruit and also peppery and buttery flavours. It is an old school wine at its best.
