Tasting Notes
Brilliant, rich ruby with a light garnet hue. Lots and lots of ripe, intense fruit on the nose, with notes of ripe plums, some blackberry and a hint of sandalwood. Very full-bodied and firm tannins, expands powerfully over the course, many layers, somewhat bulky in the finish, still needs a long ageing period, lots of potential.
