The red wine Fossati Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Enzo Boglietti has been rated in 2012 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby colour with a light garnet rim. Dense and appealing nose, full of ripe cherries, some rum pot, pickled plums, liquorice in the background. Very supple on the palate, spreads out with lots of sweet, ripe fruit, round, unfolds with ripe, fine-meshed tannins, juicy on the finish.
