The white wine Puntay Chardonnay Südtirol DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Erste+Neue has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear, bright green yellow. Aromas of ripe quince and red peach on the nose, also delicate meadow herbs and roasted nuts, with a hint of bergamot. Juicy on the palate, with a radiant fruit core, powerful in body, winds its way through with good tension, hearty on grapefruit and ripe mango on the finish, good drinking flow.
