The white wine Hautnah Roter Traminer trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Espenhof – Nico Espenschied has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Total SO2 is about 30 mg/l. Orange yellow with golden reflections. Floral, candied tangerine, Turkish honey and rose. The palate is creamy in the background with richly concentrated fruit, fine thread of acidity, subtle Traminer spice on the palate, still youthful due to its closed length and intensity.
