The white wine Uffhofen La Roche Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Espenhof – Nico Espenschied has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The red soil slope is recognisable. Mineral on the nose with a hint of stewed apricots. On the palate there is a firm acidity, spice and animating salinity. Dry with fine-grained tannins and intrinsic power. Matured in Wachau oak.
