The red wine Carmione Carmignano DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Fabrizio Pratesi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
It has a gleaming dark ruby red colour. There is a strong aroma of new oak, then earthy notes of beet, finishing with clove, cinnamon and strawberry. On the palate it is polished, juicy and elegant, unfolding beautifully, and with a well-integrated oak character. It has good drive and finesse on the finish.
