The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Fattoria Cerbaia has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Chianti in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby. Intense nose, opens with slightly earthy notes of red beet, then some truffle, finally rich black cherry. Hearty and full-bodied in the attack and on the palate, then opens up with gripping, grippy tannins, unfortunately somewhat rough and drying on the finish.
