Tasting Notes

Tasting from 03.09.2015

Sparkling, rich ruby with a slight violet shimmer. Very clear and finely drawn nose with notes of blackberries, preserved cherries, elderberries and some cloves. Firm and full-bodied at the start, grippy tannins, but also develops harsh notes as it progresses, unfortunately quite angular on the finish.

Rich, deep dark ruby with a bluish shimmer. Lush and intense nose of tobacco and elderberries, with violets and preserved peaches in the background. Radiant on the palate, showing lots of present, dark berry fruit, opens with grippy, densely woven tannins, concentrated but also juicy, very long finish, of tobacco and cardamom.
