The red wine Essenza Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Fattoria Kappa has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with a slight garnet edge. Very rich and memorable notes, ripe dark berries, in particular dark currants and elderberry, some leather in the background. Layered fine tannins, shows a firm drive on the palate, with dark berry-fruit, and tobacco on the finish.
