The red wine Fontalloro IGT, vintage 2006 from the winery Fèlsina has been rated in 2010 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby colour. Very dense and compact nose, earthy notes, opens with notes of ripe blackberries and plums. Ripe, juicy berryish fruit, dense tannins, savoury, builds up in a multi-layered way, goes wonderfully deep, very long finish. Sources: Wein Wolf, Salzburg; Garibaldi, Munich.
