The Red Wine Colonia Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Fèlsina has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Toscana in Italy.
Bright, radiant ruby red colour. On the nose open and warm, nuances of ripe heart cherries, noble wood, fine earthy notes, in addition to graphite and bacon in the echo, seems very complex. Initially appears balanced on the palate with polished tannins and creamy fruit, multi-layered, long echo, finely spicy, still needs some time.
