The red wine Fontalloro IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Fèlsina has been rated in 2015 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby colour. Inviting, clear and rich nose of preserved cherries, some plums and figs, profound, fine spices in the background. Opens on the palate with dense, gripping tannins, builds full-bodied, robust and dense, also shows plenty of dark berry fruit, profound, very long finish.
