Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the ochre rim. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet with nuances of cassis, black berry fruit, red pepper, and pleasant tobacco spiciness. The elegant, complex palate shows good freshness and length with fine supporting tannins, juicy cherry fruit, mineral notes, and subtle fruit. A balanced food wine, full of finesse, with the potential for ageing.
