The red wine Piano di Montevergine Taurasi Riserva DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Feudi di San Gregorio has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Dark ruby red with garnet reflections. Ripe fruit of plums, cherries and bay leaf on the nose, in the background some cedar wood, tobacco leaf and cardamom. Very polished and straightforward on the palate, with gripping tannins and a very spicy finish.
