The red wine Piano di Montevergine Taurasi Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Feudi di San Gregorio has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Intense, deep garnet red colour with a brightening rim. Ripe berries and sour cherries with leather and black tea notes on the nose. Full-bodied and balanced on the palate. Very well-integrated tannins, powerful to the end. Spicy notes follow ripe fruits. Slightly balsamic.
