The red wine Barolo Rocche Rivera DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Oddero Poderi e Cantine has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red. Fragrant, inviting nose of ripe wild berries, ripe cherries, subtle leather tones, a hint of spiciness in the background. Reveals very polished finely-meshed tannin on the palate, marvellously clear red fruit spreads elegantly through the wine, with a concentrated and harmonious finish.
