The red wine Barolo Vignarionda Riserva di 10 Anni DOCG, vintage 2007 from the winery Oddero Poderi e Cantine has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby with a pronounced garnet sheen. A very clear and intense nose, lush with ripe raspberries, plums and roses and underpinned by light earthy tones. A classic bouquet. The palate is hearty and gripping throughout, marked by pithy, dense tannins and finely ripened plum notes. Very traditional, but very good!
