The red wine Flat Lake Rotweincuvée Premium Selection, vintage 2022 from the winery Flat Lake GmbH has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benajmin Herzog, Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points.
Dark crimson in colour with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. On the nose, aromas of ripe plum, some cassis and blackberry, fine herbal spice, tobacco nuances, and candied orange zest. The palate is full-bodied, with delicate, ripe cherry fruit, round, firm tannins, mineral and persistent, a multi-faceted food wine with the potential for further development.
