The red wine Flat Lake Rotweincuvée Top Limitation Gold, vintage 2023 from the winery Flat Lake GmbH has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benajmin Herzog, Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points.
Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. On the nose, a delicately spicy bouquet of liquorice, vanilla and ripe cherry with a hint of chocolate. The palate is juicy and balanced, with ripe tannins, nuances of plum, some nougat, and subtle plum fruit on the persistent finish, sure ageing potential.
