The red wine Zweigelt Blaufränkisch St. Laurent, vintage 2022 from the winery Flat Lake GmbH has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 87 - 89 Falstaff points.
Dark colour. The aroma is dominated by notes of dark chocolate and prune. Buttery aromas and some cherry are also perceptible. The palate starts off emphatically supple, almost oily, and then leads into a rather strong slightly dry tannin, well veiled by the texture. The quite mild acidity reinforces the impression of round fullness.
